At its very heart are brothers Ryan and Craig Blackburn, who inspired by the landscape they grew up in, have set about creating a quintessentially Cumbrian inspired dining experience.

 

When the brothers started Kysty, in 2018, their mission was to serve great food, which above all else had to be seasonal, inspirational and delicious.​

Their motivation is to provide their guests with a truly memorable dining experience, one that they will want to enjoy time and time again, and there’s no doubt that Kysty’s ever-developing menus curated by Head Chef Dan Hopkins are testament to that…

The food served at Kysty has been lovingly crafted by our dedicated team of chefs.

Led by Head Chef Dan Hopkins, they have created a seasonal menu brim full of dishes inspired by the Cumbrian landscape that surrounds us.

Dishes that reflect the simple food ethos of our Chef Patron Ryan Blackburn, which is to utilise only the finest seasonal ingredients available to us.

To that end we only work with small artisan producers who grow and rear quality produce with real care and attention to detail, people who like us are passionate about food.

   Reservations

Reservations are now open up to the end of March 2024. Reservations for April 2024 will open on the 29th December.

Please note we are closed at the following times for staff holidays (inclusive):

17th - 26th December
31st December
11th - 20th February
29th - 30th March


Maximum table size is 6 persons.
If you are unable to book a table for the number required it may be because there is no availability. We cannot guarantee that additional persons can be added to a booking at a later date.

Please ensure you follow the booking process through to completion, including providing card details to secure your reservation. You will receive a confirmation email for your booking. If you do not receive this email please contact the restaurant ASAP.

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant.

We advise pre-booking taxis for travel to and from the restaurant, as it can be very difficult to secure a taxi on the evening. We recommend Amber Taxis 01539442000 and John's Taxis 07759143423.
